Crafting by the numbers February result

Well I had high hopes to do a lot better in February but a nasty cold that I caught courtesty of my 3 yr old daughter which then turned into a sinus infection that lasted 3+ weeks ruined those plans. I accomplished something crafty 9 of the 29 days, or 31%. Total to date for January and February: 17 out of 60 possible days which works out to 28.3%. All in all I guess I can't complain about my progress, or lack of, considering that I was lucky to be able to stay awake much past 8:30 pm most nights while battling the germs.

Now March is here and I can again set a goal for myself to do better this month. How about you? Does the pending spring give you loads of energy to do more? It does for me.

I love the way you keep your chart.

The cold is what got me in January! I posted my results already but I've found that this may be motivating me in the wrong way. There are times I want to go to my sewing room in the evening more to be able to mark off the day than to accomplish any particular thing - like when my Honey and I got home from dinner at about 10 PM last night. Instead we just got into bed and had some time together instead of me going to prove a point to my crafting calendar. I need to make this more of a curiosity and less a measurement of myself somehow.

Ok Kristen that isn't how you are supposed to play the game. LOL. I guess you just need to retrain yourself as to what this is supposed to be about which is doing more....not for the sake of just saying that you did but because you wanted to actually do more.

For me, the kids and other life stuff get in the way a lot and I have to make a concious effort to work on my crafting. Hence the tracking system. I want to end this year feelign good about what I accomplish.
