Oh no!

A few minutes ago, this pulled up outside my house. I'm sure the neighbors were mighty curious.
But no worries. It is just a training session for our department's new ladder truck and what better place to practice but on my own house. Hubs is in the bucket.
Going up!
Swinging around.
Hi dear! Having fun?
This had better be the ONLY time I ever see a ladder extended towards my house!
If I remember correctly, this ladder can extend 140 feet.
Hey babe why don't you hose the crap out of the gutter while you are up there.
The kidlets were mesmerized and I was surprised that it could maneuver down this low.
So that was our morning entertainment. The weather today is supposed to be gorgeous and we'll be heading on over to my boss's house this afternoon for a picnic and little swimming. The kids will have a blast. They are such fish.

I hope you enjoy your weekend.

Neat. I am going to show these pics to my Hubby. He was a volunteer fireman for a good many years in our Country Municipality.

When I was at my sister's a couple of weeks ago lightening struck her house. We could smell burned wires (we thought) so of course we called the fire department and got to watch them go up in the bucket onto her roof. They were so professional and so thorough - a great bunch of guys. blessings, marlene
