This past week was so productive for me. On Friday I finished the top of the Pretty in Pink baby quilt.
Even though the top looks far from square in this picture (too much wind and uncooperative quilt model again), trust me it is an even 52" x 52". The sashing color of white was an easy choice since I felt that anything else would get lost next to the scrappy blocks.
I'm not sure how I want to have my LAQer friend quilt this one or what color thread to use but since I trust her judgement and she always does a terrific job, I'm not concerned that whatever she chooses will look fantastic.
The neighbor friend mom-to-be-again has absolutely no idea that this will soon be draped over her baby girl's crib but since I am great at keeping secrets, I will continue to do so until she opens the box and sees what is inside. I promise to share those pictures when the happy moment comes.
