Something I did when I was her age!

I'm in the office catching up on reading blogs.
I hear some crinkling noise and go to the kitchen to investigate.
Sunshine had the need to sort all of her Valentine's Day loot!
P.S. I love the little sticker on the tub of red applesauce.
In case you can't read it, it says "You are Awesome Sauce Valentine."

7 of you added your own colorful comments:

  1. In the "olden days" I never had candy in my homemade Valentine mailbox, but I remember sorting those cards and holding on to the one that came from someone special...aka Cute Boy! Happy Valentine's Day!

  2. How I remember going through all of my Valentine cards when I was little!!!! That was so much fun.

  3. I used to love making and giving Valentine's. We decorated little boxes to put on our desks at school. Ahhhh.... I need some glitter and lacey doilies.

  4. No candy that I remember either but wonderful frosted sour cream heart shape cookies from the elderly lady next other recipe ever tasted so good!!!!!!!

  5. We only got cards at school. No candy extras either.

  6. Wow ! Sunshine sure got a lot of goodies ! We remember getting cards in school, but no yummy goodies. Isn't Valentine's Day fun? One of our favorite holidays !
Best wishes, and happy quilting, from Marina and Daryl
