Scrappy Triangles Guild Charity Quilt

There's one more recent quilt I completed for my guild's charity quilt program. It is one wild and scrappy creation, pieced with every print of fabric that you can think of.
I can't imagine the work that went into this top by whoever pieced it. This is the "before quilting" photo. It's a nice size twin, measuring 65" x 91".
The stitching provided some great texture, though it isn't the easiest to see among all the business of the fabrics and piecing.
Up closer you can see it a bit better.  I chose the Feather Me panto to bring in some soft curves and used King Tut Jewel of the Nile thread on the top as it is a bolder variegated thread.
A tan small print fabric was provided for the backing and the stitching shows there nicely.
The Feather Me panto up close.  I like the way this stitched out.
I'm sure this quilt will be providing someone lots of warmth this winter.
The new owner will certainly spend lots of time looking at all the various prints that make up this very scrappy quilt.

What is the bottom size of the triangles? They look very small. Beautiful quilt.

Hi Patti. I agree, someone will love it. The person who pieced it actually put in all the hard work. I only quilted and bound it. Unfortunately your comment came through as a No Reply Blogger so I can't reply to you directly.

Hi Ruby. I'm sorry. I didn't piece the quilt top so I don't know the size and it's already been delivered to the charity quilts coordinator of my guild. Yes they were very small, maybe 3" at the most. Unfortunately your comment came through as a No Reply Blogger so I can't reply to you directly.
