2015 in review

It's that time of year, when everyone (or almost everyone) posts a summary of their completed projects for the year so I'm doing it too.  I don't feel at all that I accomplished much this year and I'm not happy about that but the time commitment for Girl Scouts really made a major dent in my sewing time.  All in all, 11 projects is better than 1.
I completed only a couple of quilts and this is really unusual for me but I have 3 more that are in the final stages and will be completed early in January so the new year will be off to a good start.  My plan for 2016, in part, is to get a lot more of my UFOs quilted and bound and I'm working on my list of goals for the year.

So it is goodbye to my 2015 quilting year.  I sincerely hope 2016 is much better.

Happy new year. In the end and as time passes, you may see that your volunteer work with girl scouts was just a great "finish" as quilts. Do look at it that way, as in life we all make compromises! Good luck into 2016.

You can quilt later, but your daughter won't be a Girl Scout forever, and time spent with her is the most precious!!! Happy New Year.

Even with all of the time you spent with Girl Scout activities, you still managed to accomplish a lot. I have never regretted the amount of time I spent with my daughter and our troop when she was growing up, but there are a few quilts I made that I definitely question what I was thinking of.

Happy New Year! All the best to you in 2016. That's a pretty impressive collage of your 2015 projects. Getting some UFOs done up and finished will be a great start.
