Lookie, lookie!

Someone is actually in the process of making my Castles on the Horizon quilt that was featured on the Moda Bake Shop in November.  My online friend Lesley of The Cuddle Quilter is stitching up this one.  Lookie at the pic she just shared with me.
I can't tell you how thrilling it is to see someone making my quilt...the one little ole me designed. It certainly gives me the confidence to design more patterns and hopefully it won't be too much long before I'm able to release my first one for sale.

Thank you Lesley for allowing me to share your sneak peak and I can't wait to see it finished.

It is beautiful and Lesley is doing a wonderful job on it. I love the colors she is using.

Wow, that is gorgeous! Isn't it fun to see how the individual quilters' color choices make a pattern look so fresh and new?

Michele, your pattern has been so easy to follow! Thank you for your design! I love the Horizon fabric-I actually had a layer cake and cut them into charms for this quilt. Now I am on working on the pieced border and almost ready to sew together! It's a great day in my sewing room!

Thank you so very much Lesley. That makes me feel great that my pattern is easy to follow. I tried hard to make it so that even a novice could make this quilt. I can't wait to see your finish.

There is nothing "little" about how great you are!

Congrats on that. There is nothing more heart-warming than seeing someone making up one of your designs.
