May results and other things

I know, I know. June is almost over but I was soooooo buried getting the teacher quilts done that I didn't have time to post my results of my Crafting by the Numbers self challenge for May. I always say better late than never. Because of the teacher quilts, I spent a lot of time in my studio last month. It doesn't seem like a ton by looking at the number of days but believe you me, it was a LOT of hours all told. But since I'm not tracking hours just days, I'm only reporting as such.

May's frenzy resulted in  11 days of crafting out of the 31 possible or 35%. Year to date total is 49 days of 152 (32%). The total percentage is inching up, though ever so slowly but at least it is going up.

Onto other things. I have been getting a large amount of spam comments from Anonymous pain-in-the-ass folks that have nothing better to do with their lives than to hound my little blog. Really annoying but at least they are getting caught in the spam filter and aren't posting. For now I've switched my settings to not accept any more anonymous comments so I can see what happens. Hopefully they will move onto bothering someone else (though not any of my blogging friends).

I didn't post anything last week because I was out of town on vacation and didn't take my laptop. Now that I am home and the kiddos have started summer camp, I'll be able to get caught up on all my sewing that is waiting, get Lucy set up and running, find a new home for my current Brother machine, get some of the white walled rooms painted and post lots of fun stuff.  Plus I have some scrapbooking projects that have been on the back burner for way too long.

And keep on the watch for a great announcement in the next day or so. You won't want to miss this!
